Class Type Descriptions

All Levels Vinyasa:(All levels) In this moderately paced class, movement is synchronized with the breath. It is called flow yoga, because of the smooth way that the poses run together. “Vinyasa” literally means “connection” in Sanskrit. Set to upbeat and fun music, you will find this class challenging, and it will be beneficial for building strength, greater stamina, and flexibility and will also aid in weight management. Modifications will be given if you are newer to yoga and all levels are welcome from beginner to seasoned yogis alike. A truly FUN yoga practice! 60 minutes.

All Levels Power Vinyasa Flow:(All levels) If you are looking for a more “ Power Vinyasa” class, this one is for YOU! After a brief warm up with some pranayama (breath work) we will hit it hard with an intense vinyasa sequence that will increase heart rate, work all of your major muscle groups, and demand more from you mentally than any other class we offer. At the end of class you will feel like you were challenged, yet exhilarated. An awesome cross training yoga practice for athletes that will still deliver the cardiovascular needs of your training. New to yoga? No worries! Appropriate cues given to our beginner or newer yogis. Bring water, a smile, an open heart and mind and get ready to POWER UP your practice. This class is 75 minutes in length to allow for an appropriate cool down at the end of our practice to relax and restore the body (Savasana). We practice this class in a moderately heated room 80-83 degrees to aid the body in sweating, which is a
powerful tool in releasing toxins in the body, and also allows you to go a bit deeper in your postures.

Basics:(Beginner) Whether you are brand new to yoga or want to review the basics. This Hatha class spends times on the foundation of the poses. We take the time to talk through the important details of the asana (postures). 60 minutes

We utilize props such as bolsters, yoga blocks and straps as well as blankets to help the student deepen their postures during this class. 60 minutes
